LCC Tool Manager Evaluation LCC Tool Manager System is a Windows™ based program used to maintain and manage Tool data and NC Programs for use on NC Controls. NC Programs can use 8-digit Tool numbers instead of tool changer pot locations, allowing the NC Program to be machine independent. The system handles Tool offset registration on the NC Control eliminating operator input errors of tooling offsets. The system allows users to maintain a database of Stock Tools by Tool# (up to 8 digits in length), geometry offset, and wear. NC Programs are post processed by the system converting the 8-digit T calls into their corresponding Tool changer pot location and adding NC program blocks to register each tool’s offset on the NC Control.
The built-in DNC system provides NC Program send, receive, remote file request, and send file queuing over serial communications. A wide variety of NC Controls are supported. System Features
