Overview The
Instrument Calibration Manager (CalMan), is a 32-Bit
Windows program used to maintain an inventory of instruments and equipment
requiring periodic calibration.
Instrument management and calibration scheduling is maintained by
department (set-up by the user).
Calibration procedures and Standards can be defined for each
instrument type. Calibration history
records are maintained, providing detailed calibration reports for your
quality control requirements. CalMan
is designed to satisfy ISO 9000, ANSI/ASQC Q90-1987, and MIL Q9858 standards. CalMan
now supports Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. The
program is simple to operate. Menu
driven screens provide quick access to program functions. On-screen help information is available for
each menu item and program function.

Department Management Instrument
inventory is categorized by department.
The user can set-up and select departments
supporting instruments requiring periodic calibration.

Instrument Management Functions
are provided allowing the user to maintain an inventory of instruments for
each user-defined department. Each instrument has the following information assigned
to it when first entered into the system: v Instrument
Number v Instrument
Name v Calibration
Date v Calibration
Period v Calibration
Procedure/Standards v Calibration
Acceptance Criteria v Calibration
Rejection Procedure This information
allows the CalMan program to inform the user which instruments are due for
calibration, their scheduled calibration date, and associated calibration
procedures.

Calibration Scheduling The
CalMan program automatically calculates the date each instrument is due for
calibration. The program lists
instruments in tabular form, highlighting over-due instruments for easy
identification. Functions are provided allowing the user to view and/or
print any department's
calibration schedule. Calibration
due dates are highlighted on a three month calendar. The calendar and instrument list can be
printed and used as a posted schedule for each department.

Calibration History Reporting As
instruments are added to a department, re-calibrated, or removed from a
department, CalMan maintains a historical record of each action. This historical record can be viewed and/or
printed providing detailed record of instrument maintenance. |

Standard Features Over
10,000 departments can be maintained. 1 million instruments can be maintained. Plain English
commands and detailed on-screen Help are used throughout the system
